PolyCog vs ChatHub — six answers, or one argued one
Both put ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini and Grok on one screen. ChatHub sells the models as a monthly query plan and shows their answers side by side. PolyCog runs on your own API keys and has the models argue their way to one answer.

On ChatHub Pro, every Advanced model spends one of 1,500 monthly queries, whether the answer costs its provider a twentieth of a cent or nearly five cents. That is a bargain if you mostly ask the top models and poor value if you mostly ask the fast ones. Tiers from chathub.gg/models; prices from PolyCog's rate card (DeepSeek at its peak-hours rate), October 2026, rounded up.
ChatHub counts every Advanced model as one query from the same monthly allowance, from Claude Haiku 5.5 (about a twentieth of a cent per answer at list price) to Claude Fable 5 and GPT-6 Astra (about five cents).
The short version
ChatHub and PolyCog both put several frontier models on one screen, and both can run six at once. ChatHub sells the models: Pro is $19 a month ($14.99 billed yearly) for 1,500 advanced and 10,000 basic queries, Unlimited is $39 ($24.99), with answers side by side, a one-click summary, image and video tools, and apps on every platform; your own API keys work only in its free browser extension. PolyCog sells only the interface: each call costs that model's list price on your own key, the models read and answer each other before a flagship writes one synthesis, and a verify pass checks their claims against web sources. If you want the top models all day at a flat price, ChatHub Unlimited is hard to beat. If you want to see what every answer cost and have the models argue their way to one answer, that's us.
Who pays for the AI
The same frontier models, three ways to pay for them. Two of them are ChatHub's.
ChatHub plans
Pro $19/mo · Unlimited $39/mo · less billed yearly
You→ Queries, set by ChatHub→ AI providers
You buy a monthly allowance of basic and advanced queries, and ChatHub pays the providers. A query is a query: which tokens it used and what it cost upstream stay on ChatHub's side.
ChatHub extension

You→ AI providers, directly
Custom chatbots run on any OpenAI-compatible endpoint (OpenAI, OpenRouter, Ollama and others) or on accounts you are signed in to. Extension only: the web and phone apps run on ChatHub's quota.

Both plans include up to six chatbots at once, web access, chat with images and files, one-click summaries, a prompt library, full-text history search, code preview, sharing, and the iOS and Android apps. Basic models include DeepSeek V4.1 Flash, MiniMax M3 and GPT-5.6 Luna; advanced ones include GPT-6 Astra, Claude Fable 5 and Gemini 3.1 Pro. ChatHub's pricing page doesn't say how a prompt sent to several bots at once is counted.

One prompt, two workflows
ChatHub puts up to six answers side by side and can summarize them in one click. PolyCog adds the step in between: the models read each other.
ChatHub: answers side by side, then a one-click summary. PolyCog: parallel answers, a difference scan, a debate round, one synthesis.
What a month costs
ChatHub's price is flat; PolyCog's moves with your use. Drag to yours.
- ChatHub Pro: $14.99 a month billed yearly
- ChatHub Unlimited: $24.99 a month billed yearly
- PolyCog free tier, everyday roster, 60 sessions: ≈ $8
- PolyCog $10 plan, everyday roster, 60 sessions: ≈ $18
- PolyCog $10 plan, all flagships, 60 sessions: ≈ $37
A PolyCog session: four models answer, one debate round, a flagship synthesis (the worked examples on the subscriptions-vs-BYOK page). The nearest ChatHub equivalent, four bots plus Summarize, is about five queries, so 300 a month is all of Pro's 1,500 advanced queries if each answer counts as one. ChatHub's pricing page doesn't say.
Where ChatHub beats us
A comparison you can trust has to cut both ways.
A flat price for heavy use
Unlimited is $24.99 a month billed yearly for every model ChatHub lists, Claude Fable 5 and GPT-6 Astra included. If you ask the top models all day, that beats any per-token bill, ours included.
No keys, one sign-up
Nothing to set up at five providers: sign in with Google or Apple and start. PolyCog's sample mode needs no keys either, but past three prompts a day you bring your own.
Apps everywhere
iOS, Android, Windows and macOS apps, a Chrome extension with a side panel, and the web app. PolyCog is a web app that works in a phone's browser: nothing to install, and nothing native either.
More tools around the chat
An image generator, a video generator, a translator, a web-page summarizer and a notebook in beta. PolyCog's pictures come from the debate seats themselves, and it stops there.
Where PolyCog wins
A debate, not a summary
Answers side by side plus a one-click summary still leave each model unaware of the others. In PolyCog each model reads the others and replies before the synthesis, and the disagreements are named, not smoothed over.
Every answer has a price you can see
No basic and advanced buckets. Each call costs that model's list price, the estimate shows it before you run, and the line is in your own provider dashboard. A fast model costs you a fraction of a cent, not one of 1,500 queries.
Your keys on every device
ChatHub runs your own keys only in its browser extension. In PolyCog your keys are the plan, on the laptop and the phone alike.
Light use costs less
Sixty sessions a month on the everyday roster comes to about $8 on PolyCog's free tier, against $14.99 for ChatHub Pro billed yearly. Heavy flagship use flips that, and the chart above says so.
Common questions
Is ChatHub worth it?
If you want the top models all day at a flat price, yes: Unlimited is $24.99 a month billed yearly ($39 month to month), with no API keys to manage. It fits less well if you use AI lightly, where per-token billing costs less, or if you want the models to argue their way to one answer instead of sitting side by side.
Is ChatHub free?
Partly. Signing up gives a free usage quota, and the browser extension is free and runs on your own API keys or the accounts you're signed in to. Pro and Unlimited add the monthly allowances and the premium features. PolyCog's free tier runs four models on your own keys with three debate rounds, and sample mode needs no account at all.
Can I use my own API keys with ChatHub?
In the browser extension, yes: custom chatbots work with any OpenAI-compatible endpoint (OpenAI, OpenRouter, Ollama and others), and ChatHub's docs say the feature is only in the extension. The web and phone apps use ChatHub's own quota. In PolyCog your own keys are the whole model, on every device.
Do the models debate each other in ChatHub?
No. ChatHub sends one prompt to up to six chatbots and shows the answers side by side, and a one-click Summarize writes a summary of them. Its docs don't describe a step where one model reads another's answer. That step is PolyCog's core: parallel answers, a difference scan, a verify pass against web sources, debate rounds, then one synthesis.
What counts as a query on ChatHub?
ChatHub sorts its models into basic and advanced tiers and gives each plan a monthly number of each (Pro: 10,000 basic, 1,500 advanced). Every advanced model draws on the same allowance whatever it costs to run, so a question to Claude Haiku 5.5 and one to Claude Fable 5 come out of the same 1,500. The pricing page doesn't say how a prompt sent to several bots at once is counted.
Can I use both?
Yes, and ChatHub's extension can even run on the same API keys. Plenty of people keep a side-by-side app for quick checks and open PolyCog when a question deserves a real argument and one answer.
